Shutdown of the Split Case Pump
1.Slowly close the discharge valve until the flow reaches the minimum flow.
2.Cut off the power supply, stop the pump , and close the outlet valve.
3.When there is a minimum flow bypass pipeline, close the discharge valve when the bypass valve is fully open, then cut off the power supply and stop the pump. The high-temperature pump can only stop the circulating water when the temperature drops below 80°C; the sealing system (flushing fluid, sealing gas) should be stopped according to the situation after the pump is stopped for 20 minutes.
4.Standby pump: the suction valve is fully open and the discharge valve is fully closed (when there is a minimum flow bypass pipeline, the bypass valve is fully open and the discharge valve is fully closed), so that the pump is in a state of full suction pressure. The cooling water of the standby pump should continue to be used, and the lubricating oil level should not be lower than the specified oil level. Pay special attention to inspection in winter, keep the heating line and cooling water unblocked, and avoid freezing.
5.The spare pump should be cranked according to regulations.
6.For pumps that need to be overhauled (after parking), close the nitrogen inlet valve of the dry gas sealing system first after stopping the pump (cooling down), release the pressure in the sealing chamber, and then completely discharge the liquid in the pump and the cooling water in the cooling system to make the pump body The pressure drops to zero, the remaining material in the pump is purged, all valves are closed, and the power is cut off by contacting the substation. On-site treatment must meet HSE requirements.
Split Case Pump Switching
When switching pumps, the principle of constant flow and pressure of the system should be strictly guaranteed, and situations such as pumping out and rushing for volume are strictly prohibited.
Switching under normal circumstances:
1.The standby split casing pump should be ready for start-up.
2.Open the suction valve of the standby pump (pump filling, exhaust), and start the standby pump according to the normal procedure.
3. Check the outlet pressure, current, vibration, leakage, temperature, etc. of the standby pump. If all are normal, gradually open the opening of the discharge valve, and at the same time gradually close the opening of the discharge valve of the original running pump to keep the system flow as much as possible. Pressure does not change. When the outlet pressure and flow of the standby pump are normal, close the discharge valve of the original running pump and cut off the power supply, and press stop pump.
Handover in case of emergency:
Split casing pump emergency switching refers to accidents such as oil spraying, motor fire, and pump serious damage.
1.The standby pump should be ready for start-up.
2.Cut off the power supply of the original running pump, stop the pump, and start the standby pump.
3.Open the discharge valve of the standby pump to make the outlet flow and pressure reach the specified value.
4.Close the discharge valve and suction valve of the original running pump, and deal with the accident.
